Old Saybrook, Connecticut
Hand-sliced meats. House-baked bread. Ice cream churned daily in small batches. No shortcuts—just the way it should be.
Our Story
Sandwichman and Ice Cream Parlor has been a fixture on Ferry Road for as long as most folks in town can remember. We started with a simple idea: serve honest food made the old way, with ingredients you can taste the difference of.
Every morning, our meats arrive fresh—never pre-sliced at a factory somewhere else. Our bread is sourced from local bakeries. Our produce comes from farms within the region when the season allows it. And our ice cream? Churned right here, in small batches, every single day.
We're not trying to reinvent anything. We're just trying to make the best sandwich and the best scoop of ice cream this side of the Connecticut coast. That's it. That's the whole pitch.
The Parlor
Our ice cream is churned in small batches daily using whole milk, fresh cream, and real ingredients—no powders, no shortcuts. We rotate our flavors seasonally, but the classics are always available.
